Feeling totally helpless when my cousin Janet was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma I got involved with Light The Night in 2006. I realized I could make a difference by fundraising.

In 2010 I decided to step up my fundraising by cycling 100 miles around Lake Tahoe by participating in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride with Team In Training. Quite a challenge for a 55 year old ex smoker!

What was supposed to be a one and done event will now be my 6th time around Lake Tahoe and my 10th Team In Training event. My goal is to be over $60,000 lifetime fundraising by the end of the ride.
